Rather than sending plastic gift cards (which are wasteful of paper and plastic - and can get lost), we have moved to gifting Chilled Points instead.
- You can gift a Chilled Pubs experience by buying ‘Chilled Points’ for someone else which they can spend in any of our Chilled Pubs.
- It is like an electronic version of a gift card.
What are Chilled Points?
Our guests earn Chilled Points when they buy food & drink at any Chilled Pub
They spend Chilled Points on any food or drink at any Chilled Pub.
The Chilled Points are held as part of an account when a guest registers with our Chilled Pubs App
Chilled Points can be also be purchased and given as a gift to someone
In order to buy the points, neither the sender nor the receiver need to have registered with The Chilled Pubs App
However, the receiver is asked to register with The Chilled Pubs app in order to collect the points then spend the points
All of this is very easy..... and fully explained at each stage of the purchase, sending and receiving
You can send someone any value of Chilled Points.... all you need is their email address
How do I send Chilled Points to someone as a gift?
- Please ensure that you have the correct email address for the recipient.
- Click the link below and follow the instructions:
- Select the value of the gift you want to send.
- Select the date that you want to send the gift – either immediately or on a specific date (eg. for a Birthday or special occasion)
- Enter a personal message
- The recipient will then receive an email explaining that you have gifted them some points to visit any of our pubs.
How will the recipient receive the points?
- They will receive a nice email with your personal message confirming that you have sent the gift.
- If they have already registered for our Chilled Pubs App – the points will automatically be added to their account at 9.00am on the day you have requested then to be sent and they can spend them immediately.
My friend/ the recipient doesn’t have the Chilled Pub App?
- No problem – you just need their email address.
- Your friend will receive an email asking them to click a button to download the App and register an account.
- As soon as they complete the very simple registration – the points will be waiting for them in their new account.
Help with gifting points?
Q: My friend has not received the email about the points I have gifted?
A: Please double check that you have entered the email address correctly. Most issues result from a letter or dot missing from an email address.
Q: My friend has received the email but not the Chilled Points?
- The person receiving the gift needs to have registered for the Chilled Pubs App - the email they received tells them how to do this.... they simply click the link in the email
- Sometimes guests have more than one email address – so please check that the App is registered with the same address as the email you have used to gift the points.
