Q: Do I have to book a table?
A: The restaurants get very busy. If you need the certainty of a table, we strongly advise that you book a table. We do not take bookings for tables in the bar. Bar tables are on a first come basis. We sell the same food and drink everywhere in the business.... for more on this see 'Do I Need to Book'
Q: What is the maximum table size that I can book?
A: 8 people... please see article 'Large Tables & Functions'
Q: Can I book a table in the bar?
A: No... you can eat the same food in the bar as in the restaurant, but the bar tables are not bookable, they are all available on a 'first come' basis.... for more on this see 'Do I Need To Book'
Q: I am going to be late - what should I do?
A: We will hold the table for you for 15mins. If you are going to be later than this, please get in touch via the 'live chat' on the Chilled Pubs app.... or any of the Chilled Pubs websites. We will do our best to find a later table for you.
Q: Can I extend the duration of my booking
A: Please get in touch via 'live chat' on the website or the app. We will do our best to give you what you want.
Q: Can I book a table in the bar for pre / post dinner drinks?
A: I'm sorry, we do not reserve tables in the bar area. For more on this see 'Do I Need To Book'
Q: Can I book a table in a specific area?
A: Yes. When you book a table online, you have the ability to choose the part of the pub where you would like to sit. The system will only offer a table if there is one available. For more on this see 'Different Areas in Our Pubs'
Q: Can I pay for a meal / bottle of wine as a present for someone else?
A: Yes. Please get in touch via 'live chat' on the website or the app
Q: Why do I have to give my card details when making a booking?
A: We will do not charge you for a cancellation or amendment. We take card details when you book online, this is just to ensure you’re not a robot!! or a malicious booker. Chilled Pubs do not store your card details, they are held by a secure, specialist third party - compliant with all data protection rules
